Cavan Scott
Cavan Scott is a New York Times Bestselling author known for his work on titles such as Godfather of Hell, Night of the Slashers, Shadow Service, The Ward, Dead Seas, and Sleep Terrors. He also penned Star Wars: The High Republic – The Rising Storm, Star Wars: Dooku – Jedi Lost, and The Patchwork Devil.
Scott was a lead story architect for Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The High Republic initiative. His comics work spans across Marvel, DC Comics, Dark Horse, IDW, Legendary, and 2000AD. He has written for Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures and Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge. Currently, he is developing new television and film properties and serves as creative director of Strange Matter, a production company he co-founded with George Mann.
A former magazine editor, Scott resides in the United Kingdom with his family. His interests include folklore, audio drama, David Bowie’s music, and horror films. He is also an avid LEGO collector.
Pius Bak
Pius Bak is an illustrator and comic book artist from Lithuania. His credits include work with publishers like Vault, Dark Horse, BOOM! Studios, and IDW. He has contributed to titles such as Godfather of Hell (with Cavan Scott), Eat the Rich, Stranger Things, Firefly, Adventure Time, and Jim Henson’s Labyrinth. Bak also co-created the comic series Slightly Exaggerated. In addition to his comic book work, he creates covers for fiction books and music albums.
Der-shing Helmer
Der-shing Helmer is an Eisner-nominated and Ignatz-award winning independent artist specializing in science-fantasy and educational comics. Originally from the CA Bay Area, Helmer is now based in the San Diego Area and serves as the Managing Editor at Vault Comics. She is a self-taught artist with a biology degree from UC Berkeley and a background in secondary science education.
