About The Author

Celest Pereira

Celest Pereira is a geek at heart who loves anatomy and biomechanics. She earned her BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 2009, overcoming a dropout at 16. This experience allows her to explain complex concepts with ease. Her passion for movement, evident since childhood, is balanced with a belief in having fun. Her challenging yoga sessions are also opportunities for connection, laughter, and relaxation, though bringing a towel is advised.

Adell Bridges was a gymnast in her youth, known for her elegant rather than powerful style. She describes her movement abilities as “bendy” rather than strong. At 19, she moved to Wales, studied psychology, and obtained a master’s degree in creative writing. After several unfulfilling jobs, Adell discovered yoga at age 28, which transformed her life. She completed her foundation teacher training in India and traveled extensively, teaching yoga and deepening her knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics. Adell’s teaching philosophy centers on educating students to become their own teachers, fostering a deeper understanding of the self through movement, breath, and life experiences.
