About The Author

Chin Taylor

Chin, a fifth-generation Malaysian Chinese chef, and his mother Choo, come from a family with over 70 years of experience in Chinese street food. Their family business originated in Borneo in the 1950s before moving to Somerset, where Chin and Choo have since operated a restaurant. In both 2022 and 2024, their restaurant, Ziangs on the Avenue, was a finalist in the ‘Best Street Food’ category at the UK-wide Golden Chopsticks Awards, hosted by Gok Wan.
