About The Author

Chip Zdarsky

Chip Zdarsky is the award-winning illustrator and co-creator of Sex Criminals for Image Comics. He has also written Spider-Man: Life Story, Daredevil, and Howard the Duck for Marvel Comics, as well as Jughead for Archie Comics.

Matthew Rosenberg is the award-winning writer of What’s the Furthest Place From Here?. He has also co-created and written the series 4 Kids Walk into a Bank and We Can Never Go Home, and worked on titles such as Uncanny X-Men, DC vs. Vampires, The Punisher, The Joker, and Amazing Spider-Man. He once co-wrote an album with a member of the Wu-Tang Clan. He was born and raised in New York City.

Vita Ayala is a trans, nonbinary, Afro-Puerto Rican writer from New York City. They have written acclaimed comics and prose for major publishers including Marvel, DC, Image, Vault, and Valiant, with a focus on character-driven narratives that explore identity, justice, and resilience. Before turning to writing full-time, Ayala held jobs ranging from museum security to baking. They are known for creating powerful, inclusive worlds where anyone can be a hero.

Mark Russell is an American writer of comics and satire. His DC Comics debut was the limited series Prez. Since then, he has tackled projects such as The Flintstones, Exit, Stage Left! The Snagglepuss Chronicles, which earned him a GLAAD Award for Outstanding Comic in 2019. In 2023, he and collaborator Mike Allred were nominated for an Eisner Award for Best Limited Series for Superman: Space Age. Mark currently resides in Portland, Oregon.
