Chris MacDonald is a novelist, screenwriter, playwright, and actor. He attended a top UK Drama School, whose alumnae include Tom Hardy and Michael Fassbender.

His debut play, Eye of a Needle, was staged at the Southwark Playhouse. As an actor, his credits include work for the BBC, the RSC, and Amazon Studios. His screenwriting work includes the social horror film This Merrie Land for Agile. He is also a member of the band Playground Champions, whose music has been featured on the ITV show Buffering.
