Matt de la Peña is the author of Last Stop on Market Street, which won the Newbery Medal for the English edition. He is also the author of Love; A Nation’s Hope: The Story of Boxing Legend Joe Louis; and six acclaimed young adult novels. Matt teaches Creative Writing and visits colleges and universities across the country to speak with students. Matt lives in Brooklyn, New York.
