Christopher Summerfield
Christopher Summerfield is a Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Oxford and a Staff Research Scientist at Google DeepMind. He studies human brains and works on building intelligent systems.
He has received several awards, including the Cognitive Neuroscience Society Young Investigator Award in 2015, and is a frequent keynote speaker at international events.
Summerfield has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications. His academic book, Natural General Intelligence: How understanding the brain can help us build AI, was highly praised. This is his first book for a general audience.
