Cilla Pershouse
Mother of three, Cilla Pershouse grew up on a cattle property in Ban Ban Springs, Queensland, with her brothers and sister. At a young age Cilla moved away from the farm and into the city to pursue a career as a performing artist. After 10 years away from the farm Cilla began to understand and really appreciate where she came from and the contributions that her family’s farm makes to the community and the country. Cilla decided to move back to the farm and prove to herself and her family that she is a grazier and that she can be as successful as her brothers. Cilla got her first working dog and learnt the Scott Lithgow technique. She loves her dogs and has built a beautiful bond with them. With such a young family and a husband who works off farm, Cilla is time poor, exhausted and has more than both hands full as she takes on the challenge to train a young pup over 12 months. On Muster Dogs, Cilla was paired with a black-and-white Border Collie, Ash, competing in the experiment to be crowned Champion Muster Dog.
