Critics Review
In this latest clever offering in his winning series, Tabor writes in short sentences with controlled vocabulary to make text accessible for the newest of readers, while illustrations rendered in pencil and watercolor add visual interest and humor. A real catch for new readers. - Kirkus Reviews
Tabor plays with the meanings of catch, pulling out idioms and exploring the different ways one uses this simple word, making this book as much a playful, action-filled lesson about the English language as it is about the practice of reading. Fans of this character will be delighted, newbies will be converted to fans, and we’ll all be waiting to catch Fox’s next zany adventure. - Horn Book
