Canticos Canta Conmigo / Sing with Me (Bilingual)

Cottage Door Press is an independent publisher of high-quality children’s books designed to spark curiosity in the littlest readers and fan the flames of lifelong learning. We select artwork and stories that encourage caregivers to explore interests, learn, and give young minds room to grow. We believe in creating stories that reflect the boundless possibilities of all children and inspire them to connect, dream, celebrate, and see themselves beautifully reflected in the stories they read. Our diverse and talented staff collaborates with authors and illustrators from all backgrounds and nationalities, partnering with multicultural brands and literacy organizations to ensure our books reach as many little ones as possible.

Susie Jaramillo is a mom, artist, and creative director raising 2 bilingual children. She previously cofounded vox collective, a NY-based multicultural agency, and attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, majoring in painting and illustration. Growing up between Venezuela and the United States, Susie was exposed to songs and traditions from both cultures. She created the Emmy-nominated series Canticos, now featured on Nick Jr, to share her Latino culture through nursery rhymes and songs in both English and Spanish.
