What They're Saying

Critics Review

“Many consider the Grand Canyon of the Colorado River the ultimate challenge for landscape artists. They must know how to create the illusion of depth with geometric and aerial perspective and replicate the fine details and colors of the geology. Walters has accomplished all of this consistently and to the highest standard, which is why he is recognized for his unique mastery of the subject and is considered the premier Grand Canyon artist.” – Christine Mollring, author and international art consultant
“This book needs a warning label: Expect to shed tears as you read this powerful account of a young man’s journey from an awkward youth to a passionate landscape painter.… Curt belongs to Grand Canyon. His heart and soul are in it and that is why he paints it so beautifully. He leaves nothing back in his work; the eternal spirit of nature is alive in all his paintings.” – Katrina Rogers, Ph.D. — public speaker, scholar, conservationist
