Damon Centola
Damon Centola is Elihu Katz Professor of Communication, Sociology and Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. He is the founding director of the Network Dynamics Group and a Senior Fellow at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics. He was awarded a U.S. Patent for inventing a network method to spread new ideas and beliefs online. He is the recipient of numerous scientific awards, including the 2017 James Coleman Award for Outstanding Research in Rationality and Society and the 2011 Goodman Prize for Outstanding Contributions to Sociological Methodology. He is the author of Change and How Behavior Spreads.
