Dan Abnett
Dan Abnett
Award-winning British author Dan Abnett is a seven-time New York Times best-seller and the recipient of the Best Comic Writer award in 2003. He has authored over fifty books, including best-selling Warhammer 40,000 novels and tie-in fiction for Doctor Who, Torchwood, and Primeval.
In the 1980s, he co-created Death’s Head and Knights of Pendragon for Marvel UK and made significant contributions to the renowned British comic 2000 AD. His work for Marvel Comics includes Iron Man, New Mutants, Doctor Strange, and The Punisher. He also contributed to major Marvel cosmic events such as Annihilation and War of Kings, as well as the Nova and Guardians of the Galaxy series. Abnett is also recognized for his contributions to major video games like Alien: Isolation and Shadow of Mordor. He has since returned to Marvel’s cosmic universe with Guardians 3000 and Guardians of Infinity.
Andy Lanning
Andy Lanning is widely recognized for his collaborative writing on Marvel’s cosmic characters in Nova, various Annihilation series, and Guardians of the Galaxy. His extensive writing career, spanning decades, also includes credits at Marvel such as Heroes for Hire, New Mutants, and The Punisher. For DC Comics, he has written Resurrection Man, Legion of Superheroes, and Superman/Batman. His work also extends to WildStorm’s The Authority and BOOM!’s creator-owned title The Hypernaturals. Alongside co-writer Alan Cowsill, he revived Marvel UK’s superheroes in Revolutionary War.
Lanning is also a respected inker, most notably for his work with Phil Jimenez on New X-Men and Amazing Spider-Man. He has collaborated with a diverse range of talented artists, including Mike McKone (Fantastic Four, Amazing Spider-Man), Dave Gibbons (The Secret Service), Mark Bagley (Fearless, Ultimate Spider-Man), and Ivan Reis (Justice League, Aquaman).
Mike Lilly
Mike Lilly is an accomplished visual artist with a recent acclaimed run on Harris Publications’ Vampirella. In addition to his comics work, he has created illustrations for a series of rare Star Wars trading cards. His notable comic credits include Nightwing, Green Lantern, The Punisher, X-Men Unlimited, and Annihilation: Conquest – Quasar.
