Katy Halford is a children’s book illustrator living in Leicestershire, UK. She studied Illustration at Loughborough University and went on to study teaching at Birmingham University. She was an art teacher for many years until one day she had a light-bulb moment and decided to focus on her true passion - children’s book illustration. Since then she has drawn lots of pictures for picture books, young fiction and non fiction.
