Alexandra Lester-Makin is the Post-Doctoral Researcher for textiles on ‘Unwrapping the Galloway Hoard’, an Arts and Humanities Research Council-funded project jointly run by the National Museum of Scotland and the University of Glasgow.

Gale R. Owen-Crocker is Professor Emerita of the University of Manchester where she was previously Professor of Anglo-Saxon Culture and Director of the Manchester Centre for Anglo-Saxon Studies.
