A wonderfully written guide for anyone who wants to eat better and save the world at the same time. Essential reading for anyone who cares about the planet. – Thomasina Miers

This is a book that could save the earth and rescue our future. Dr Coburn gives us a blueprint for how to save the planet, one bite at a time. If you care about the world and you want to know what you can do to help it, then this is the book for you. Both devastating in its analysis of what our food does to the planet, and wonderful in the solutions it offers, it will make you think about every fork of food you lift to your mouth. An astonishing accomplishment that might be the most important book we ever read, it will change the way you look at what we eat forever. It’s a book you’ll want to gorge on.

Science writing at its best. Both accessible and meticulously researched, this is an extraordinary debut from a science writer to watch.

– Dr Max Pemberton
