Edward Canfor-Dumas
Edward Canfor-Dumas is a novelist and an award-winning TV scriptwriter. He was educated at New College, Oxford, and after a spell as a comedy writer and performer, started writing for popular television series such as The Bill and Kavanagh QC. His TV work includes Tough Love, Pompeii: The Last Day, and Supervolcano.
He took a lead role in establishing the All-Parliamentary Group on Conflict Issues, launched in February 2007, and in 2011 co-founded Engi, a social enterprise that works with businesses, civil society, and government to reduce conflict. He is the author of The Buddha, Geoff and Me and is a practising Buddhist.
