About The Author
Emmett Miller
Dr. Miller is a musician, physician, and scientist, renowned as a co-creator of holistic health and Mind-Body Medicine. He holds degrees in Medicine (Albert Einstein College of Medicine) and Mathematics (Trinity College) and is a member of Sigma Pi Sigma, the National Physics Honor Society. His key discovery lies in the profound impact of thoughts, emotions, and mental images on health and performance. Recognizing the mind as a human biocomputer, he pioneered the use of self-induced altered states to access its ‘source code’.
Applying his expertise, he invented the first meditation tapes, “Software for the Mind,” introducing deep relaxation and guided imagery to the world. These tapes have been favored by both conventional and alternative health professionals for over 35 years. Often called a ‘contemporary shaman’, he is a trainer, coach, speaker and tireless worker in the service of planetary transformation through his Leadership Institute for Global Healing and Transformation (LIGHT).
His book, Deep Healing; The Essence of Mind-Body Medicine, showcases his research into healing and transformation for health, happiness, and peak performance. He practices in Los Altos, specializing in Mind-Body Medicine and Peak Performance Coaching for individuals, leaders, and organizations.
