Critics Review
‘Some of my earliest memories of cooking with my mum and aunts included trips to Asia Market on Drury Street in the ‘90s - a labyrinth of ingredients that felt exciting and full of possibilities. Eva Pau brings that same sense of discovery to the page, opening up Asian cooking in a way that feels generous, joyful and completely achievable.’ Donal Skehan
Eva Pau
Eva Pau is the star of Eva Pau’s Asian Kitchen. Eva grew up in her parents’ Asian supermarket in Dublin, learning to cook by watching her Hong Kong-born mother. Now managing director of Ireland’s largest Asian food store, Asia Market, and the host of her own show, Eva has dedicated her life to making Asian cooking approachable for home cooks. Her story is proof that passion, perseverance, and a love of food can turn a childhood spent in a tiny shop into a career sharing the joy of Asian cooking with everyone.
