Fabian Nicieza
Fabian Nicieza’s career began with Marvel’s Psi-Force and backup stories in Classic X-Men. He has since written for many of Marvel’s major super-teams, including Alpha Flight, The Avengers, The New Warriors, The Thunderbolts, and the X-Men. In collaboration with artist Rob Liefeld, Nicieza reinvented New Mutants as the successful X-Force. His work also includes solo hero titles such as Cable, Deadpool (later combined as Cable & Deadpool), Gambit, and Nomad. Nicieza edited Marvel’s Star imprint and contributed to major X-Men events like “X-Cutioner’s Song” and “Phalanx Covenant.” He also penned “pre-modern” limited series, including Adventures of Captain America and Citizen V and the V-Battalion. Beyond Marvel, his credits include DC Comics’ JLA and Justice League Adventures, as well as The 99, Turok, and X-Files.
Scot Eaton’s comic art career commenced in the early 1990s with his work on DC Comics’ Dr. Fate and Scarab, and a stint drawing Jim Starlin’s Dreadstar for First Comics. Following a run illustrating Sigil for CrossGen, he has been a consistent contributor at Marvel. His Marvel credits include Rogue, Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, and Black Panther, notably illustrating the wedding of Storm and T’Challa. Eaton has been a prominent artist within the X-Universe, drawing New Excalibur, chapters of the “Endangered Species” saga, X-Factor, X-Men: Legacy, and Wolverine: Origins. Additional Marvel work encompasses Doomwar, Iron Man/Thor, and Secret Avengers.
