Fabian Nicieza

Fabian Nicieza’s career began with Marvel’s Psi-Force and backup stories in Classic X-Men. He has since written for many of Marvel’s major super-teams, including Alpha Flight, the Avengers, the New Warriors, the Thunderbolts, and the X-Men. He, along with artist Rob Liefeld, transformed New Mutants into the blockbuster X-Force. Nicieza has also written for solo heroes such as Cable, Deadpool (later combined in Cable & Deadpool), Gambit, and Nomad. He edited Marvel’s Star imprint, contributed to multi-title X-events like “X-Cutioner’s Song” and “Phalanx Covenant,” and wrote various limited series such as Adventures of Captain America and Citizen V and the V-Battalion. His work beyond Marvel includes JLA, Justice League Adventures, The 99, Turok, and X-Files.

Jim Krueger

Jim Krueger is known for co-creating the Earth X trilogy with Alex Ross, a superhero saga that brought together elements from Marvel’s history into a single future narrative. His other Marvel work includes contributions to Avengers and X-Men titles. He reunited with Alex Ross for the Avengers/Invaders miniseries and Dynamite Entertainment’s Project: Superpowers, which featured Golden Age heroes. Krueger also created Foot Soldiers for Dark Horse and Clock Maker for Image Comics. Additionally, he is an accomplished video game designer, copywriter, and filmmaker, with his short film They Might Be Dragons winning Best Short Film at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival.

Mat Broome

After his debut on Marvel’s X-Force, Mat Broome moved to Image Comics. He penciled a significant run on Stormwatch, the Defcon 4 miniseries, and several issues of WildC.A.Ts, including the conclusion of Alan Moore’s run. Broome contributed to the Shadowman revival for Acclaim, penciled short arcs on Gambit and Batman, and co-wrote and illustrated Image’s Skinners and Saffire through his own studio imprint, Digital Broome. His later work includes penciling Chaos’ Mummy: Valley of the Gods, the Dabel Brothers’ Wood Boy one-shots, Dark Horse’s End League, and Marvel’s Adam: Legend of the Blue Marvel miniseries.

Tony Daniel

Tony Daniel is a prolific creator known for his memorable run penciling X-Force. At Image Comics, he illustrated Alan Moore’s Spawn: Blood Feud miniseries and the entirety of The Tenth. Daniel established himself as a double threat by writing and drawing Image’s F5 and Dark Horse’s Silke miniseries. After a brief period at Top Cow, where he penciled Tomb Raider and wrote and drew HumanKind, Daniel moved to DC Comics. He illustrated Geoff Johns’ Teen Titans and the death of Bart Allen in Flash, and collaborated with Grant Morrison on Batman. Daniel went on to write and draw the Batman: Battle for the Cowl miniseries, becoming the regular Batman writer and artist. For DC’s New 52, he wrote Savage Hawkman and wrote and drew Detective Comics.

Paul Pelletier

Veteran artist Paul Pelletier has worked on a wide array of projects. His Marvel collaborations include working with writer Dan Slott on She-Hulk and Great Lakes Avengers; Tony Bedard and Chris Claremont on Exiles; Dwayne McDuffie on Fantastic Four; Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning on Nova, Guardians of the Galaxy, and War of Kings; Greg Pak on Incredible Hulks; and Cullen Bunn on Wolverine.
