Georgie Birkett

Georgie Birkett has made many picture books for young children. In her Cheery Street series she has written Carry Me!, Snack, Please! and Bedtime is Boring! She won the Booktrust Early Years Award for Is This My Nose? and has also been nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal for Share! written by Anthea Simmons. Born in Kent, Georgie now lives in Lewes, East Sussex, with her husband, David, and sons, Jack and Albert.
