“In this intriguing combination of poetry and nonfiction, each season is given three double-spreads containing a haiku and a science question-and-answer… . Lin’s vivid gouache illustrations and multi-ethnic characters Lily, Owen, Ki-ki and Kevin are terrifically appealing.”
