About The Author

Grant Gordon

Grant Gordon is a musician, radio maker and writer. He played drums and bass in the chart pop band The Divine Comedy. He was the presenter/writer/producer of BBC Radio 4’s magic programme Between Your Very Ears (2008). He also wrote, produced and directed BBC Radio 2’s celebration of David Bowie, Berlin:Soundz Decadent (2007). He has written and produced audio-visual material for BBC News in India and Vietnam, and has written about India for various travel magazines. In the 1990s, he worked in the Channel 4 Press Office, publicising programmes like Dispatches, TFI Friday and Brass Eye, and working as Michael Grade’s corporate spy. He lives in London.
