About The Author

Grant Morrison

  • Grant Morrison: A Glasgow-born writer, Morrison is renowned for their work in both British indie comics and American mainstream titles. They gained recognition with Zenith in 2000 AD, followed by critically acclaimed runs on DC Comics’ Animal Man, Doom Patrol, and JLA. Morrison also penned the best-selling Arkham Asylum graphic novel and contributed to various other DC projects like The Invisibles and All-Star Superman. At Marvel Comics, they revitalized New X-Men and worked on Fantastic Four: 1234 and Marvel Boy. Morrison has also returned to DC for titles such as Seaguy, WE3, and Batman Inc., and served as a special creative consultant for DC editorial.

  • John Paul Leon: A graduate of the School of Visual Arts, where they studied under industry legends, Leon began their professional career illustrating for Dragon and Dungeon magazines. They entered the comics industry with Dark Horse’s Robocop: Prime Suspect and later worked on Milestone Comics’ Static. Leon’s extensive work for Marvel includes New X-Men, Captain America, and Thor. They are particularly known for their contribution to the Earth X maxi-series. Leon also provided artwork for Superman Returns and licensing art for Batman Begins, and worked on The Winter Men for Wildstorm/DC Comics.

  • Igor Kordey: A prolific Croatian illustrator, Kordey is known for their extensive work across multiple monthly books. Their Marvel credits include Black Widow: Pale Little Spider, Captain America, and significant runs on X-Treme X-Men and Cable. Kordey collaborated with fellow Croatian Darko Macan on Tarzan projects for Dark Horse Comics.

  • Phil Jimenez: A veteran artist, Jimenez is celebrated for his high-energy style in DC Comics titles such as Wonder Woman, Teen Titans, and Grant Morrison’s The Invisibles.
