Dr. Hammid Bashir, PhD
Dr. Hammid Bashir is a laboratory specialist and biochemist at the Government Medical College since 2012. His research background is in biochemistry, with extensive experience specifically in researching Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and a deep understanding of the subject matter. He has published approximately 49 articles in journals and is a co-editor of three recently published books. He is a rising researcher focused on the fields of Thyroid Diseases, Diabetes, and Insulin Resistance.
Shafat Ali (Ph.D.)
Shafat Ali pursued his BSc. from the University of Kashmir and his Masters in Zoology from Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya, India. He has been engaged in research for the last 5 years at the Cytogenetics and Molecular Biology Laboratory, Centre of Research for Development, University of Kashmir, Department of Biochemistry, Government Medical College, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, and the ICMR funded Multidisciplinary Research Unit, Government Medical College, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. His specializations include reproductive immunogenetics, cytokine biology, gynaecology and obstetrics, molecular biology, cancer biology, and cytogenetics. He has 5 years of research experience and 5 years of teaching experience. He has authored more than 20 book chapters, several edited books, and numerous peer-reviewed, international research publications. Dr. Ali is also a reviewer for many reputed international journals. Currently, Dr. Ali is involved in studying the immunogenetic mechanisms involved in recurrent pregnancy loss.
Dr. Yahya F. Jamous
Dr. Yahya F. Jamous is a Saudi pharmaceutical scientist and Associate Research Professor at the Institute of Health Technologies and Preventative Medicine, Health Sector, King Abdulaziz City of Science and Technology (KACST), Riyadh. He has over 15 years of experience in research and teaching, with a strong record of scientific publications in pharmaceutical biotechnology, nanotechnology, and molecular pharmacology. Dr. Jamous has held various high-ranking academic and administrative roles at KACST, including Associate Research Professor, Assistant Research Professor, Acting Director of National Partnerships, and former Director of the National Vaccines and Bioprocessing Centre (NVBC), supporting programs aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. He holds a PhD in Molecular Pharmacology from ETH Zurich, focusing on new therapeutic targets in heart failure, and MSc and BSc degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences from King Saud University. Dr. Jamous is a licensed Consultant of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
