About The Author
Hill, Eric
Eric Hill (1927-2014) began his artistic journey as an art studio messenger, progressing to become a cartoonist and later an art director at a prominent advertising agency. In 1978, Eric created a bedtime story for his son about a small puppy, which led to the birth of Spot. The remarkable success of his inaugural lift-the-flap classic, Where’s Spot?, in 1980, inspired him to dedicate himself fully to writing. His Spot books have since brought joy to children globally. In 2008, he was honored with an OBE for his contributions to children’s literacy.
