Fabulous thought proving pukapuka. The language and reference to daily struggles is relevant to many. How we can re-connect to the day-to-day simplicities, such as the importance of good kai, connecting with whānau and papatūānuku in order to keep ourselves well. The vessel to facilitate these thoughts is through daily whakataukī. Such whakataukī supports us to recognise that self-care and appreciating the simple things is a Māori wisdom handed down by generations and very important for our hauora in this day and age.
I've read this book several times and gifted it to friends and whānau.
Highly recommend!
