Ingrid Clayton, PhD, is a clinical psychologist practicing in Los Angeles, California, with a private practice established in 2009. Her expertise lies in trauma, and she is dedicated to making complex psychological concepts accessible to a wider audience.
Her first book, Recovering Spirituality: Achieving Emotional Sobriety in Your Spiritual Practice, published by Hazelden in 2011, was based on her dissertation research concerning spiritual bypassing and its effects on individuals recovering from alcoholism and addiction.
