J. Bryan Lail
J. Bryan Lail coauthored architecture frameworks, six business architecture guides, multiple white papers, reference models, and numerous articles over a 20-year career from 2005 to 2025. He played a key role in advancing the discipline by bringing together the Business Architecture Guild and The Open Group. Lail also applied Business Architecture in his architect role in the U.S. Defense industry, positively impacting the organization. Now retired, he focuses on applying these proven methods and tools to global challenges as one of the emerging Humanity Architects. He resides in Tucson, Arizona.
Linda Finley
Linda Finley is founder and President of the thriving and vibrant Twin Cities Business Architecture Forum, the largest Community of Business Architects in the world, having celebrated its 15-year anniversary in 2025. One of six original authors of the international standard for Business Architecture (A Guide to the BIZBOK) and an early board member of the Business Architecture Guild, Linda is proud to have helped to literally invent the discipline, and continues to write about it, speak to it, and practice it professionally today. With a successful 40-year career in business and technology leadership, Linda has developed curriculum and taught the first post-graduate academic certification programs in the US, and actively coaches early-stage as well as legacy businesses to successful outcomes using the discipline. She has held CIO, Chief Architect, COO, and Strategic Consulting roles across governments, private sector, and philanthropic enterprises. She was recently recognized as the Architecture Leader of the Americas by the Chief Architect Network and leads the Business Architecture Channel for that global network of executive architects.
