James G. Mayo

James Mayo is an associate professor of English at Jackson State Community College in Jackson, Tennessee. He served for five years as president of the Carson McCullers Society and assisted in the foundation of the Carson McCullers Center for Writers and Musicians. He received a bachelors degree from Middle Tennessee State University and a masters degree from the University of Idaho.
