Janet Morrison received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in History from Appalachian State University and a Master of Public Affairs degree from North Carolina State University at Raleigh. After a short career in public administration, she took a fiction writing course through the Continuing Education Department at Queens University of Charlotte and began a second career as a writer. Janet plans to publish a collection of historical short stories, and she is writing an historical novel set along The Great Wagon Road in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina in the 1760s.
