Jim Widess
Jim Widess and Ginger Summit are the best-selling authors of The Complete Book of Gourd Craft and Making Gourd Instruments.
Jim has a zeal for visual instruction for crafts. Since 1980, he has authored and co-authored over a dozen craft books on subjects including gourd crafting, chair caning, basket weaving and various Hawaiian crafts.
Ginger has been decorating gourds since 1990. She is a retired teacher and author of many books on gourd crafting. She travels the country giving lectures, demonstrations, and artist workshops.
