Jim Zub

Jim Zub is a writer, artist, and editor best known for his work on Conan and the creator-owned series Skullkickers, which ran for 33 issues after its 2010 launch.

He began his comic career in 2001 with Makeshift Miracle. Since then, he has written for notable publishers and properties including IDW, Marvel, Cartoon Network, Street Fighter, Samurai Jack, Thunderbolts, Uncanny Avengers, Dungeons & Dragons, and Wolverine. He also created the series Wayward.

In 2019, Zub penned Rick and Morty vs. Dungeons & Dragons: Chapter II: Painscape, which earned a nomination for the 2022 Eisner Award for ‘Best Graphic Album’.

Throughout his career, Zub has received and been nominated for numerous awards, including the Web Cartoonists’ Choice Award, Yalsa, Animex, and the Joe Shuster Canadian Comic Award for Outstanding Writer.
