J.M. Clarke is a Canadian author who was a little too obsessed with Godzilla as a child. He has worked with children and families throughout his career, volunteered in hospice, and has yet to master the bass guitar, despite three attempts.

After writing stories for twenty years, he began sharing them online during the pandemic and, much to his surprise, became an Amazon bestseller. He still suspects it might all be a dream.

He is best known for his Mark of the Fool and Rune Seeker series, which he co-wrote with Carter J. Thompson, and has also had short stories published.

Der-shing Helmer is an Eisner-nominated and Ignatz-award-winning independent comic artist specializing in science-fantasy and educational comics. Originally from the CA Bay Area, she is now based in the San Diego Area. Der-shing is currently the Managing Editor at Vault Comics. She is a self-taught artist with a biology degree from UC Berkeley and a background in secondary science education.

Adam Cahoon is a Senior Designer and Production Lead for Vault Comics. He is a comic book artist known for The Nasty from Vault Comics and his self-published works The Tuffs, Origin House: Spa and Retreat, and Anomaly. He is part of Second Rocket Comics and has contributed design work and short comics to anthologies such as Justin Richards’ Everything Is Different Now, J Donahue’s Morsels, and DB Andry’s Dead Blood.
