John Peel
John Peel (1946-2015) was a British science fiction writer best known for his contributions to the Doctor Who novel range. He wrote more than twenty Doctor Who novels for Virgin Publishing and BBC Books, making him one of the most prolific authors associated with the franchise in the 1990s and 2000s.
