Joyce Efia Harmer
Joyce Efia Harmer was born in London to Ghanaian parents. She holds a BA in English Language and Literature from King’s College, London, and subsequently taught English.
In 2016, Joyce was chosen as one of six writers to participate in the Megaphone writer’s scheme, an initiative designed to support diverse voices in Children’s Literature. In 2017, she was a finalist in Penguin’s WriteNow scheme.
She currently resides in London with her husband and two sons. How Far We’ve Come is her debut novel.
