Kate Cross
Kate is an accomplished hand-embroider, artist, and teacher who discovered embroidery at the age of 7. After completing an art degree, she trained on the Apprenticeship Program at the Royal School of Needlework, acquiring a vast repertoire of embroidery techniques and knowledge.
Kate has contributed to prestigious commissions as part of the RSN team of stitchers, including the Princess of Wales’ wedding dress and the coronation robes of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
She runs her own thriving business, Bespoke Embroidery, based in Godalming, Surrey, undertaking both public and private commissions and teaching. Her work for fashion houses includes clients such as Hermes, Dior, and Stella McCartney.
