What They're Saying

Critics Review

Move over, James Bond. With Alfie Hazard and the Spy Cats: A Spy in the Embassy, Kekla Magoon launches a smart, funny, fast-paced adventure series about one brave kid and two sleuthing felines who serve as secret agents in this high-stakes international caper. Perfect for younger fans of James Ponti’s City Spies series, Alfie Hazard and the Spy Cats is going to be an instant hit with elementary school readers.
—Kate Messner, New York Times bestselling author of the Ranger in Time and Wildlife Rescue series

I’m officially obsessed with Bonnie and Baxter (and their human Alfie): spy cats that still truly act like real cats, saving the day in a variety of mischievous and hysterical ways. A meowvelous gem of a book!
—Colleen AF Venable, author of the Katie the Catsitter series
