Kelly Starling Lyons
Eva Ibarzabal holds a BA in Modern Languages and a Master’s Degree in Translation. She previously worked as a news producer for a local TV network and as a freelance medical translator. Her passion for literature led her to transition into translating fiction, biographies, graphic novels, and children’s books.
Ibarzabal has received recognition from the International Latino Book Awards for two consecutive years for her Spanish translations. This includes The Beloved World of Sonia Sotomayor and The Truths We Hold: An American Journey, the memoir of Vice President Kamala Harris, for which she was awarded the Gold Medal in 2021.
Eva lives in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
