KEVIN D. DUMOUCHELLE leads the curatorial department at the National Museum of African Art. He has developed exhibitions such as Heroes: Principles of African Greatness and Visionary: Viewpoints on Africa’s Arts, which received an Association of Art Museum Curators Award for Excellence. Dumouchelle has authored books and articles on a diverse array of subjects and curated exhibitions featuring both contemporary and historical African art.
