“A book for all those who need to know they’re not alone.” –Booklist

“Consider sharing this contemplative graphic novel about a girl’s formative summer with fans of Mariko and Jillian Tamaki’s This One Summer.” –School Library Journal

“A beautiful celebration of the inner lives of the communities around us, including those we might overlook. Empathic and insightful–I want to recommend this book to everyone.”
–Jen Wang, author of Ash’s Cabin
