Kurt Vonnegut
Ryan North is a Canadian writer and computer programmer, renowned for his award-winning work across webcomics, graphic novels, and books. He is the creator of the long-running webcomic Dinosaur Comics and has contributed to numerous major comic series, including Marvel’s The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl and Fantastic Four, and the Adventure Time comic series.
Kurt Vonnegut was an American novelist, satirist, and artist celebrated for his darkly humorous and often science fiction-influenced works such as Slaughterhouse-Five and Cat’s Cradle. His writing frequently delved into themes of war, social issues, and humanity, employing a blend of satire, gallows humor, and postmodern techniques. Vonnegut, a pacifist and humanist, was deeply affected by his experiences as a prisoner of war during World War II, including surviving the firebombing of Dresden.
Albert Monteys is a comic writer and artist based in Barcelona. He dedicated the first twenty years of his career to satirical cartooning before shifting his focus. In 2014, he launched his digital science-fiction series UNIVERSE! published at Panel Syndicate. He also served as the artist for the graphic novel Solid State by Matt Fraction, which adapted songs by Jonathan Coulton. His current projects include ongoing installments of UNIVERSE!
