About The Author
Kym Roberts
Kym Roberts felt drawn to three career paths during her early childhood: detective, investigative reporter, and nun. However, the nun idea faded when she discovered boys. In high school, she took a job at a dry cleaners and met every cop in town, especially the lone female police officer, solidifying her desire for a career in law enforcement.
Kym followed her dream and became a detective, fulfilling her desire to be an investigative reporter with the added bonus of a badge. Promoted to sergeant, Kym spent most of her career in SVU. She retired from the job reluctantly when her husband relocated them, but writing remained a calling.
