About The Author

Larry Hayes

Larry Hayes is easily distracted. So when he’s not writing books for children he can be found working as an investment fund manager and the trustee for a homeless charity. In the future he hopes to become a treasure hunter, private investigator, inventor of a yoghurt that makes you happy, Olympic croquet medallist and the person who solves the maths behind the human brain. Larry’s debut fiction book for children, How to Survive Without Grown-Ups, was published by Simon & Schuster in 2021.

Joelle Dreidemy was born in Saint-Avold in France. She gained a diploma in Strasbourg in 2002 and a diploma from the famous Emile Cohl School in Lyon in 2004. Joëlle lives and works in Paris, producing illustrations for magazines and children’s books.
