About The Author
Laura Brown
Laura Brown is a cultural producer and the founder of LB Media, a communications firm pairing luxury and the arts with the greater community. Previously, she was the Editor in Chief of InStyle, where she led the magazine through the pandemic, banned fur and exotic skins in 2018, and signed the 15% Percent Pledge. Before InStyle, Brown was Executive Editor of Harper’s BAZAAR. She earned her BA in Arts and Communication from Charles Sturt University in New South Wales, Australia.
Kristina O’Neill is a 25-year veteran of the New York media industry. She is currently the head of Sotheby’s Media and editor in chief of Sotheby’s Magazine. Previously, she served as editor in chief of WSJ. Magazine, where she was responsible for all editorial content, oversaw multiple brand extensions, and accrued record revenue. Before WSJ. Magazine, she worked at Harper’s BAZAAR for 12 years, serving as Executive Editor for seven of them. Earlier in her career, O’Neill worked as Candace Bushnell’s assistant and held editorial roles at New York Magazine and Time Out New York. O’Neill sits on the board of the Swedish fashion brand TOTEME. She graduated from the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University and lives in Brooklyn with her family.
