About The Author
Laura Bunting
Laura Bunting is a children’s author with a life-long love of literature, learning, literacy, libraries, licorice … and alliteration.
Laura’s books have been published around the world and translated into multiple languages. She lives on Australia’s Sunshine Coast, among lots of very noisy kookaburras, three young children, two cheeky wallabies and one not-so-noisy but moderately cheeky husband.
Laura wrote her first story when she was six years old, and now spends her days doing The Thing She Wanted To Do When She Grew Up.
Philip Bunting is an author and illustrator whose picture books deliberately encourage the reader to playfully poke around at the edges of their understanding. His books have been published in over 35 countries around the world, and have received multiple accolades.
Philip grew up in England’s Lake District, just down the road from Mrs Tiggy-Winkle’s place. He followed his heart to Australia in his early 20s, and now lives with his family on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
