Critics Review

“Drawing on decades of hard-earned experience, Common Sense Preparedness is a practical, comprehensive guide that will equip you with the skills needed to build a more resilient and self-sufficient life.”–Jan Berry, The Nerdy Farm Wife
“Laurie has been sharing her down-to-earth, common-sense approach online for years, and I’m thrilled to see that same practical, real-life wisdom gathered into a book. Laurie doesn’t just teach, she lives this life everyday, and her many years of experience shine through in her writing. Common Sense Preparedness is an encouraging guide for anyone who wants to build a more resilient, capable life without fear, hype, or overwhelm.”–Ashley Adamant, creator of Practical Self Reliance and Creative Canning
“You don’t have to be a ‘prepper’ to want a life that holds steady when the world doesn’t. In Common Sense Preparedness, homesteader and educator Laurie Neverman shares a grounded, step-by-step framework for securing what matters most: food, water, shelter, sanitation, and peace of mind, without fear, gimmicks, or overwhelm. From building a better pantry and preserving the harvest to storing water, hardening your home, and creating a calm, capable mindset, this is preparedness you can use every day and depend on when things get rough.”–Mark and Krista Lawley, creators of Practical Prepping
