Leonie Lord
Leonie Lord studied Illustration at Central St Martin’s College before becoming an editorial illustrator (whose clients included the Sunday Telegraph and the Guardian) and, then, a picture book illustrator. Her books include Super Duper Penguin Slide and Grotti. She is also the illustrator of The Dirty Great Dinosaur, written by Martin Waddell; Whiffy Wilson, written by Caryl Hart; and Patience, written by Rachel Williams.
Born in Gloucestershire, and having spent spells in London and Sydney, Leonie now lives in Cheltenham with her husband and two boys.
