Linda Ford Ayres

Linda Ford Ayres is the author of “The Shape of Us,” a memoir about her journey with her adopted son, and “Monster & The Daughter who Loved Her: a true story” (2025). The latter, written in alternating voices of her mother and herself, earned five-star reviews and began as a staged reading, “Crazy, Beauty, Truth,” at The Laurie Beechman Theater in Manhattan, read by Liz Canavan and Lynn Cohen. She is also the co-author of “Godless Grace,” published under her former name, Linda Ford Blaikie, L.C.S.W.

Her work has appeared in The East Hampton Star, and one of her case histories was included in a respected international journal of analytical psychology.
